Ivory Coast & N. Korea JEWELRY/ILLUSTRATION World Cup Month!

Another 2 country clubs! One from Africa, one from Asia.
Two other countries! one from Africa, across Asia.

Ivory Coast: Traditional Jewelry (Côte d'Ivoire)

Once again
I Came up with traditional jewelry, in this case from Ivory Coast. I Would Have Loved To Some share insight about These pieces But I Could not find anything about Their background ... I can only wonder Who this gentleman and this lady plow, and how is it That They ended up wearing Such amazing jewelry! Are They attired for an special ceremony? What do These jewels represent? Do they have any magical / power protection? The only thing That I can see Clearly is the silhouette of an elephant, The Strongest and largest animal in Their fauna, también Who in Their Coat of Arms.
Again! I stumbled across traditional jewelry, I'd love to talk more of these pieces, but I do not know their customs, I wonder who will be this gentleman and this lady carrying similar jewels!? are dressed for a special ceremony? symbolizing her outfit? have any magical power? the only thing that clearly distinguish the profile of an elephant, the largest and strongest animal in the fauna, and is also present in his coat of arms.

All These pics I found in Georges Courreges' Flickr Gallery , if You are curious like me you Have to take a sneak peak and watch them all! You'll find beautiful photography from amazing historical trips All Along Africa.

Ok, Had Been the Toughest this one, I Could not find any jewelry! Hmmm ... I Almost Did not find anything at all! I suppose it's Because of the strict Political system in They Live, Them That isolated from the internet.
Well, this has been the most difficult so far, I found jewelry, mmm ... rather almost did not find anything! I guess that is why the strict regime in which they live that is isolated from the internet.

But What
I did find Their propaganda Illustration WAS! Which I found very interesting: with Powerful images, bright colors (many of them to be in blue and red, the national colors) and clear messages Used To educate / manipulate the people.
But what I found was his illustration of Propaganda, which I found very interesting!
With images, bright colors (many of them withthe national colors, blue and red), and clear messages used to educate / manipulate people.

This Should Not Be Surprising at all Since we, "Free and Democratic" countries Constantly Also Are Manipulated by direct or disguised propaganda. But I do not want to get Political, at all! And I hope nobody gets offended by These illustrations. Let's just Respect and Appreciate Their culture, and by doing so, Their Art!
This is not surprising, since we others, the countries' free and democratic "we are also daily under graphics that manipulate us directly or made-up mind. But I will not talk about politics! I hope nobody feels offended by these pictures. Simply respect and appreciate their culture, and therefore, its art!
