Hello again! Today I present my new pins Cactus!
The inspiration? Yes, cactuses! I Researched Many pictures of cactuses and Took a look at the little cactus i have at home - I made a pretty cute events illustration of them!

I love this family of plants; all of themes are like little sculptures, Some of Them with very complex shapes while Others Can Be very minimalistic and geometric ... In Any case, I think They are beautiful, bold yet delicate plants strong That Can resist the hardest climatic conditions.

For this project I Decided to get my little studio (even more) messy and to work with new materials. Clay, cotton threads and felt Were The Chosen Ones.

This time I did not sketches of the final pieces as I usually do, but I put some music, pictures and sketches of cactus on my wall of inspiration, and that was it! I took some clay and started playing
I Look at Their overalls shapes, textures Their, Their volumes, Their colors, and Gave freedom to my imagination to convert Those Into Something Different images although resemblant of cactuses' beauty.

And here Are the final results! I Decided to Give a twist to cactus colors Leaving Their characteristic green color in pure white, And Then Some Adding color with hints of cotton threads, resembling Their Most Common flowers and fruits. I also left Brooches Some Completely white and loved the result as well!
